How we do it
Our platform, cogMap 1.0, has six interactive, gamified measurement modules that assess the unique cognitive attributes of individuals. The modules are designed to measure the brain's foundational cognitive attributes (memory, impulse control, alertness, risk, reasoning and attention). We go beyond measuring just the six traditional cognitive attribute values.

Our cognitive AI models provide a precise analysis of the complex nuances of individuals' cognitive sub-attributes, enabling a complete understanding of individuals' cognitive profile.

Our cognitive AI platform, processes the data, providing an analysis of the individual and their team, allowing for complex comparisons to similar individuals, cohorts or to many people of the general population.

Information is presented through our customizable dashboards, presenting unprecedented insights to individuals and team leaders.

Who we are

CogMap is the brainchild of a team of neuroscientists and cognitive AI experts from the University of London. They began by collaborating with some of the world's leading sport and talent organizations to apply an innovative approach to measuring the cognitive skills of elite performers in their fields. The CogMap team is committed to pushing the boundaries of both neuroscience and cognitive AI by creating a transformative platform that will unlock untapped capabilities of individuals and to advancing team performance.


The methodology used in the development of the CogMap platform is rooted in decades of validated cognitive testing. These tests are highly replicable and have been thoroughly vetted across large populations to ensure the utility and validity of the resulting test data. The CogMap AI team has developed algorithms and learned models that incorporate psychology, cognitive neuroscience, statistics, and behavioral AI.
